Enticing aromas of dark berries, bitter chocolate, violet and black olive. Juicy, firm and gripping; not a fleshy wine but boasts excellent calcaire energy (the fruit comes from Paraje Altamira and Gualtallary). (…) Finishes with a firm tannic spine and saline and herbal nuances. A very nicely made newer style of Argentina Malbec, from fruit picked for freshness. (aged for 18 months in large used French oak foudres)”
